Relationship between Organizational Climate and Organizational Commitment of Employees at PT. Harapan Jaya Sentosa

Abstract

This research aims to identify the correlation between organizational climate and organizational commitment among employees of PT. Harapan Jaya Sentosa. The research method used in this research is quantitative method for correlating two variables. This research involves 116 employees as subjects, selected through purposive sampling technique with criteria minimum two years work experience. Data collection technique used Likert Scale with organizational climate and organizational commitment instruments developed by the researcher. The data analysis technique used in this research is Pearson Product Moment Correlation, assisted by SPSS 25.0 for windows. The analysis correlation coefficient result is 0.725, with a significant level 0.000 (p<0.005). These results indicate a strong and significant correlation between organizational climate and organizational commitment among employees of PT. Harapan Jaya Sentosa. The higher the organizational climate, the higher organizational commitment of employees. This research highlights the crucial role of organizational climate in enhancing the organizational commitment among employees.
