Dampaknya atlet menjadi terganggu performa olahraganya.

Abstract
Martial athletes must be able to master the situation both when attacking and defending. Various risks are a threat because it is a type of body contact sport. These threats have the potential to cause athletes to experience various psychological problems such as anxiety. As a result, athletes will be disrupted in their sports performance. One of the factors that influence anxiety is self-efficacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and anxiety in martial athletes. The method used in this research is correlational quantitative method. The population in this study were martial arts athletes in Pasuruan Regency. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. The sample in this study was 105 athletes, covering the branches of karate, pencak silat, kick boxing, taekwondo. Age range 13-20 years with 72 boys and 33 girls. Self-efficacy data was obtained using a roundhouse kick self-efficacy scale (RKES) and anxiety data using a sport anxiety scale-2 (SAS-2). The data analysis technique used is Pearson correlation. The results showed a correlation value of -0.315 (p=0.001). This means that the higher the efficacy, the lower the anxiety of the martial arts athlete. Self-efficacy possessed by athletes can help control and reduce negative emotions. This makes athletes more resilient and courageous in dealing with threatening and stressful situations.
