The Description of the Maturity of a Husband Having an Affair

The husband's maturity is important to create a healthy and prosperous family. Without one of the

factors of maturity in the couple in a marital relationship, it can lead to infidelity and the impact on

partners, families and the environment physically and mentally. This study aims to provide an

overview of the selfmaturity of cheating husbands. The discussion uses a qualitative method, with a

case study approach. The informants in this study were five male informants who were married and

had relationships outside of marriage. The data collection technique method uses semi structured

interviews, and the data obtained will be processed using thematic analysis, to explore and find the

meaning that appears in the experience of the informants. Test the validity of the data using time

triangulation to see the suitability of the research results. The results obtained indicate that there are

internal and external factors that contribute to the affair. The picture of self-maturity of cheating

husbands tends to think irrationally, has difficulty controlling themselves and lacks a warm

relationship with their wives
