Latar Belakang: Career decision-making difficulties merupakan hambatan psikologis yang lazim dialami siswa SMA kelas X, terutama ketika terdapat ketidaksesuaian antara minat pribadi, ekspektasi sosial, dan pilihan akademik yang tersedia dalam sistem penjurusan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan gambaran career decision-making difficulties pada subjek yang mengalami kebingungan pemilihan jurusan serta merancang program intervensi bimbingan karier berbasis tipologi Holland dan Social Cognitive Theory (SCCT). Metode: Pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus klinis digunakan. Subjek adalah seorang siswa laki-laki berinisial BLC (15 tahun) kelas X pada salah satu SMA di Surabaya yang dirujuk oleh guru BK karena menunjukkan career decision-making difficulties dalam menentukan pilihan jurusan IPA atau IPS. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara autoanamnesa dan alloanamnesa, serta analisis dinamika psikologis subjek. Hasil: Subjek memiliki profil kepribadian Artistic-Social sesuai tipologi Holland, berasa pada status moratorium dalam pembentukan identitas, serta mengalami internal conflictss dan external conflicts sebagaimana diidentifikasi dalam taksonomi Gati dkk. (1996). Faktor utama yang berkontribusi meliputi rendahnya self-efficacy pada bidang eksakta, tekanan peer group, kondisi merantau yang membatasi dukungan emosional, dan ketidaksesuaian minat dengan sistem group, kondisi merantau yang membatasi dukungan emosional, dan ketidaksesuaian minat dengan sistem penjurusan yang ada. Simpulan: Career decision-making difficulties yang dialami subjek merupakan manifestasi eksplorasi identitas vokasional yang normal secara perkembangan, namun memerlukan intervensi terarah untuk memfasilitasi career crystallization yang sehat.
