Pengaruh Academic Self-Efficacy Terhadap Student Engagement Pada Mahasiswa Psikologi

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh academic self-efficacy terhadap student engagement pada mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Psikologi Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif non-eksperimental dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 174 mahasiswa angkatan 2022. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara daring menggunakan dua instrumen skala likert, yaitu College Academic Self-Efficacy Scale dan Student Engagement Scale. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,934; p < 0,001. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,872 mengindikasikan bahwa academic self-efficacy memberikan kontribusi efektif sebesar 87,2% terhadap student engagement. Artinya, semakin tinggi keyakinan mahasiswa terhadap kemampuan akademiknya, semakin tinggi keterlibatan mereka dalam proses perkuliahan. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar bagi institusi pendidikan dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang mendukung peningkatan keterlibatan akademik mahasiswa.
