Pengaruh Dukungan Istri terhadap Father Involvement pada Ayah yang Memiliki Anak Generasi Alpha

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh dukungan istri terhadap father involvement pada ayah yang memiliki anak generasi alpha dengan rentang usia 0-8 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional untuk mencari adanya korelasi dari kedua variabel yang sedang diteliti. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 400 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan empat kriteria responden yang telah ditentukan. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini memodifikasi skala Inventory of Father Involvement dan mengadopsi skala Dukungan Istri. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Dukungan Istri memengaruhi Father Involvement dengan signifikan (R2=0.56, p<0,05). Penelitian ini dapat memberikan manfaat untuk mengetahui keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan serta dukungan istri yang dirasakan.
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the influence of wife support on father involvement in fathers who have alpha generation children aged 0-8 years old. The method used in this research is correlational quantitative to find the correlation between both of the variables. The sample of this research consisted of 400 respondents that are selected through purposive sampling based on four criterias. The instruments used in this research were a modification scale of Inventory of Father Involvement and an adoption scale of Wife Support. Data were analyzed with simple linear regression. The result shows that Wife Support had a significant influence on Father Involvement (R2=0.56, p<0,05). This research contributes to understanding the involvement of father in parenting and the perceived support from their wives.
