Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri akademik dengan optimisme karier pada siswa SMK. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan subjek berjumlah 75 siswa kelas XII dan bersekolah di SMK X. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu skala efikasi diri akademik dan optimisme karier. Analisis dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.701 (r = 0.701) dan nilai signifikansi 0.000 (p < 0.05). Berdasarkan data tersebut, ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara efikasi diri akademik dengan optimisme karier pada siswa SMK X. Semakin tinggi efikasi diri akademik, maka semakin tinggi optimisme karier pada siswa.
