Abstract
The quarter-life crisis period in early adulthood is a hustle and bustle, with many challenges emerging. Self-compassion is a construct rooted in self-kindness, common humanity, and mindfulness; thus, it is often associated with positive impacts on mental well-being. This study aims to explore the role of self-compassion as a potential mitigating factor in facing and overcoming challenges associated with quarter-life crisis. This study used a accidental or convenience sampling technique, with a sample size of 100 subjects, aged 20-30 years. The data analysis used a simple linear regression method, which produced a coefficient of determination (R-square) of 0.319, which is considered to be sufficient. The results of this study can be concluded that self-compassion can sufficiently influences quarter-life crisis in early adulthood.
