About the Journal

Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (JPPGSD) is an academic journal that publishes research articles, conceptual studies, and innovative educational practices within the context of primary education. The journal aims to serve as a platform for scholarly reflection and knowledge sharing on teaching and learning processes, educational policies, and curriculum development that support an inclusive, sustainable, and transformative future for primary education.

Scope of the Journal:

This journal accepts manuscripts focusing on the following topics:

  1. Innovative Learning in Primary Education
    Covers current models, strategies, and learning approaches relevant to elementary school students. This includes the use of educational technology and interactive media, as well as project-based, problem-based (PBL), and STEM-oriented learning methods.

  2. Curriculum and Instructional Design
    Discusses the development and evaluation of elementary school curricula, including the integration of character values, digital literacy, and global competencies into contextual learning processes.

  3. Assessment and Learning Evaluation
    Focuses on the development of authentic and formative assessment techniques, innovations in evaluation practices, and the creation of assessment instruments that support reflective and continuous learning.

  4. Inclusive Education and Differentiated Instruction
    Explores teaching strategies that are responsive to student diversity, including students with special needs, and approaches to differentiated instruction that address various learning styles, interests, and individual potentials.

    Highlights the strengthening of teachers’ pedagogical competencies, reflective teaching practices, innovations in professional development, and teacher leadership in classroom innovation.

  6. Policy and Governance in Primary Education
    Covers the implementation of education policies, school management practices, and their impact on learning quality. It also includes collaboration between schools, families, and communities in supporting children’s educational journeys.

  7. Contextual and Cultural Studies in Primary Learning
    Emphasizes the role of local context, culture, and indigenous knowledge in learning processes. This includes ethnopedagogical approaches, multicultural education, and character-building practices relevant to students’ real-life experiences.
